When you create a Geerok account, we collect your email address, full name, and optionally your phone number. When you make deposits or orders, we collect transaction details including amounts, bank references, wallet addresses and transaction hashes. We also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and device information for security purposes.
We use your information to: process your crypto orders and deposits; verify your identity and prevent fraud; send you transaction notifications and support communications; improve our platform; and comply with applicable laws and regulations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure session management, and encrypted API credential storage. Your wallet balances and transaction history are stored in a secured database. We perform regular security audits.
To process your crypto orders, Geerok may submit order requests to third-party exchange providers. In doing so, we share only the minimum information required — typically the token symbol and quantity. Your personal details are never shared with exchange providers.
We use a single secure session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party tracking tools.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are kept for 7 years for compliance purposes. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data while retaining anonymised transaction records as required by law.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@geerok.name.ng. We will respond within 30 days.
Geerok is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of Geerok after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
